Plastic-free alternatives to reduce plastic pollution

We use cotton swabs every day and rarely think about the impact on our environment. Such a small product can't be a problem, can it?

Wrong, because every year an estimated 500 billion cotton buds are used and thrown away after a few seconds. So they too are part of the global single-use plastic pollution problem. In fact, cotton buds are among the eight most common plastic items found on beaches.

The packaging of conventional cotton swabs is usually also made of plastic. With pandoo cotton swabs you have a 100% plastic-free alternative for your bathroom.

Bamboo instead of paper cotton swabs

Another alternative to plastic cotton swabs is the paper version, which is made from wood and paper glue.

However, making disposable products that are only used for a few seconds out of valuable wood is not an optimal solution either. The pandoo bamboo cotton buds are a better alternative because they are made from fast-growing resources.
