About B like Berlin

Meet the amazing - Alisa

Alissa is the managing director and founder of B for Berlin. The idea for B for Berlin came to her during the pandemic when she wanted to teach the alphabet to her then three-year-old child. She found that most learning materials were boring - A for Apple, Z for Zebra - and did not correspond to the real life of her Berlin children.

Then she had the idea: ABC flashcards that not only teach the alphabet, but also let you discover Berlin's exciting history and diverse culture! Play and learning materials for children and families like mine: diverse, cosmopolitan and politically committed.

"I start every day with a lot of love, passion and a vision: To empower kids!" - Alisa

Alisa started with a small idea to achieve something big. For her company and her commitment, she was recognized by the federal government as Germany's cultural and creative pilot in 2021.
